Haulotte has released the next-generation HA61 RTJ PRO rough terrain articulating boom for construction, rental and maintenance applications. This new version of the machine has been redesigned to meet demanding worksite requirements. Its new design and smart engineering meet the challenges of working at heights up to 61 ft.
Operation
The HA61 RTJ PRO is designed for working on outdoor terrain. Thanks to its articulated arm and 39-ft. horizontal outreach, the HA61 RTJ PRO can take on obstacles and reaches inaccessible working areas. The machine is equipped in standard with Haulotte Dual Reach Innovation, offering load and tilt capacities.
Haulotte Dual Reach increases the load capacity of the basket up to 770 lbs. and enables working on sloping ground up to 6°. Once Dual Reach is activated on the upper control box, the machine continues to elevate, limiting the number of back-and-forth movements between the ground and the working area. When Dual Reach is activated, the machine's working envelope is automatically adapted for stability.
Performance in Rough Terrain Conditions
Equipped with standard four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, the HA61 RTJ PRO moves over various types of terrain. Its oscillating axle allows the machine to adapt to a variety of conditions, keeping the wheels in constant contact with the ground.
The automatic differential lock provides extra traction on uneven or sloppy ground, allowing the operator to maintain full maneuverability and navigate obstacles. The HA61 RTJ PRO retains its rough terrain capabilities thanks to the combination of a new engine and a new hydraulic architecture (axle drive).
Safety Features
The HA61 RTJ PRO features the Haulotte Activ'Lighting System. Ten LED spotlights enable the operator to load and unload the machine in low-light conditions. The two new reflective stickers placed on the counterweight give the machine visibility in urban environments or when co-activity is required. The Haulotte Activ'Shield Bar can be found on the HA61 RTJ PRO as standard. In an entrapment situation, the operator is pushed against the bar and the machine stops automatically. The wide clearance protects the operator from being crushed.
Maintenance
Its new engine is rated less than 18.5 kW. Haulotte engineers have also redesigned the machine's chassis and integrated hydraulic architecture with axle drive. The number of hydraulic hoses has been reduced by 35% (compared to the previous HA61 RTJ model). The new HA61 RTJ PRO features 97% recyclability rate.
Tools for Fleet Management and Diagnostics
The HA61 RTJ PRO offers several on-board diagnostic solutions to facilitate fleet management. These tools enable the collection of machine operating data, resolution of fault code and rapid troubleshooting:
- The SHERPAL telematics solution enables you to monitor the status of machines remotely and in real time. It provides access to fault codes and actions to be taken. Telematics data helps organize routes of technical teams and prepare interventions.
- The Haulotte Activ'Screen on-board diagnostics tool gives access to machine parameters and provides information on machine status in real time.
- These functions are also available via the Haulotte Diag mobile application, which also offers diagnostics with resolution procedures.
