Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division has been operating in the global access equipment industry for over 30 years. As a company that built its foundation upon scissors, its product offerings have increased over the years to include articulating and telescopic booms as well as telehandlers in the North American market. Its team is excited to participate in INTERMAT in Paris this April and will bring a full fleet of products to the event including a prototype of the next generation in Skyjack DC scissors. Its exhibit can be found in the lifting, handling, and transportation sector at Booth E5 K 037.

“It’s important to us that we showcase our products first-hand at international shows. It gives us the opportunity to not only display the full functionality of our products, but also give attendees a tangible and informational experience,” said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack.    .

Skyjack’s prototype of the new SJ4740 features a new pothole protection design, control box, SkyCoded updates and a single switch electronic e-lowering mechanism.

In addition to its traditional product lineup, Skyjack will also showcase ELEVATE, its new telematics solution. Telematics has been offered to the off-highway industry for some time now, however the adoption rate isn’t what it could be. The Skyjack solution is powered by industry leader Trackunit and has been designed with key features in mind specifically for off-highway fleets.

“The growing diversity in our product offerings has given Skyjack the ability to increase our presence across the globe,” Early commented. “The industry and its demands are changing and we’re changing with it, but at the end of the day it’s just finding new ways to keep Skyjack products simply reliable."
