Eyeblaster Floating Ads
Floating ads grab the viewer's attention and tend to be more interesting to view than other interactive ad formats. A floating ad appears uninitiated, superimposed over a user-requested page, and disappears or becomes unobtrusive after a specific time period (typically 5-30 seconds). Most have close buttons as well. Although the floating ads don't necessarily generate more clicks than pop-ups, they are thought to be more memorable therefore providing a greater branding effect as a result. One distinct advantage of floating ads is the state of the art tracking and frequency settings that allow the advertiser to control not only who views the advertisement, but how many times it is viewed by and individual.
