A successful concrete pour starts with proper placing and curing ? the same can be said for pervious concrete.

Pervious concrete should immediately be covered with plastic sheeting after placement. The sheeting should remain in place for seven to 10 days.

Water Reducer. A water reducer reduces the amount of water in the mix while maintaining the slump. This type of admixture gives the pervious concrete a slickening affect. It can also act as a hydration stabilizer.
