At a press briefing today during the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show in Las Vegas, Shawn Rasey, president of Bridgestone Americas Off Road Tire, announced the launch of five new off-road products in the company's Off Road Tire division. One of those products is the new Firestone DuraForce MH Bias tire for telehandlers. The tire will be supplied exclusively for JLG Industries on its JLG, Lull and SkyTrak branded telehandlers. The low-profile tire design helps to minimize possible sidewall damage, while the unique tread pattern and low ground bearing pressure optimizes performance in rough terrain. Other tires introduced at the show include:

  • 45/65-45 DuraLoad large loader tires for the mining, quarry and coal industries
  • DuraWaste L6S for wheel loaders and dozers that handle debris or work in scrap yards
  • V-Steel Rock E-Premium (VREP) for earthmovers
  • V-Steel J-Traction (VJT) radial off-road tire in two new sizes

During the event, Don Darden, executive director, communications, with Bridgestone Americas, shared the company's new logo, created in honor of the company's 80th anniversary.
