To celebrate the launch of the 200 Series skid steers and compact track loaders, New Holland Construction displayed two custom-painted, limited edition L220 and L230 skid steer loaders at the company's booth during CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011. The two machines will also be displayed throughout the year at various events.
Nicknamed "Cruis'n" (L220) and "Big Blue" (L230), these models feature unique styling and exclusive design elements throughout the interior and exterior of the machines.
"We're taking these two limited edition skid steers on tour this year to spread the excitement of the New Holland 200 Series at trade shows and other events throughout North America," said Dave December, New Holland Construction marketing manager. "'Cruis'n' and 'Big Blue' hold tremendous appeal for customers who take pride in their New Holland skid-steer loader ownership experience."
"Cruis'n" L220 limited edition model
“The debut of the black-and-chrome 'Cruis’n' L220 skid steer model at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011 is sure to generate excitement for the New Holland 200 Series machines,” December said.
Exterior include:
- Signature yellow paint and custom black pearl and silver metallic base coat
- Chrome accents on the rear door, cylinders, roof visor, exhaust stack, cab step and snow blower deflector
- Custom decals, including chrome bucket trim and stripe accent trim
- Aluminum "Moon Disc" wheel discs
The cab interior features:
- Custom gray, black and yellow seat
- Custom interior control handles in New Holland yellow, with metallic silver stalks
- Custom aluminum interior paneling
"Big Blue" L230 limited edition model
"The L230 is the largest skidsteer loader in the New Holland 200 Series lineup," December said. "One look at the New Holland signature blue paint and you can see how this model earned its nickname 'Big Blue' when it was first displayed at the 2011 National Farm Machinery Show in February."
Exterior features of the "Big Blue" model include:
- Signature blue paint and custom black pearl metallic base coat
- Chrome accents on roof visor, rear door, cylinder, wheels, exhaust stack, cab step and side fender trim
- Custom decals
The "Big Blue" cab interior features:
- Custom blue leather seat
- Tinted cab windows
- Custom interior control handles in New Holland yellow
