National Pavement Expo 2010

A photographic look at NPE 2010 in Nashville.

If you were unable to see everything or visit all the booths you wanted to at the 2010 National Pavement Expo in Nashville here are a few photo highlights from the show.

With an economy as tight as this one it's no surprise Tom Fee (red hat) was busy bringing contractors into his 1-800-ASPHALT booth where they could learn the marketing value of vanity phone numbers.

BioSpan Technologies drew crowds throughout the show with its newest product, Replay Asphalt Preservation Agent, which reportedly can extend the life of paved surfaces two to three times the normal life span.

Professional Pavement Products kept busy because they offered contractors everything from sealer to signage to pavement marking materials and work zone safety equipment.

Billy Goat Industries displayed its Grazor crack chaser but the focus of the exhibit was the line of Force II composite blowers, which includes self-propelled 9- and 13-hp models.

Vanguard ADA Systems' President Jon Julnes offered a liquid-applied alternative for detectable warnings.

Bomag Americas, which had the largest booth on the floor, needed every bit of space for what amounted to a complete contractor paving fleet including the BF 815 and BF 6615 pavers, BW120-AC combo vibratory roller, and BM 1200/30 milling machine.

Seal-Rite displayed its SR-700 trailer-mounted sealcoating rig, the company's most-popular unit, and its SR-850 "Extreme Trailer" unit.

Rabine Paving America introduced contractors to its UltraLot Whitetopping, a concrete alternative to resurfacing asphalt.

Kraig Kramers' crowded CEO's Toolkit Workshop focused on helping contractors apply what they already know.
