Attendees at the 2009 National Pavement Expo in Charlotte, NC, had the chance to attend many new educational seminars and workshops during the four days classes were offered. Twenty-seven new seminars and workshops, many given by new speakers at the NPE show, were available for attendees to choose from along with many reoccurring seminars from previous shows.
Some of the new seminars this year covered topics ranging from thermoplastic application, catch basin cleaning, and porous and warm mix asphalt. Many of the new and reoccurring seminars and workshops were very well attended as were the infrared, sealcoating, paving, sweeping, and striping roundtables that took place on Wednesday and Friday of the show.
