Sakrete U.S. Cold Patch Product Demonstration at NPE 2009

New at NPE 2009 was the Sakrete U.S. Cold Patch, which Bonsal American was launched in October of 2008. The cold patch is a ready-to-use, recycled, cold asphalt for permanent patching of potholes, cracks, and other blacktop surface defects. The cold patch sets instantly and can be sealed over the same day. It meets environmental needs with recycled materials that reduce the VOCs in the product. Sakrete U.S. Cold Patch is available in 50-lb. bags and is also sold in bulk.

The Sakrete Cold Patch was available at the Amguard/GemSeal booth. To make sure attendees on the exhibit floor were aware of this new product, a product demonstration was held at the booth. Sakrete Product Manager Bob Schmidt gave the demonstration which compared the new Cold Patch to Sakrete's Blacktop Patch and demonstrated differences in workability and make up. For example, the new Cold Patch is less oily than the existing offering.
