"NAPSA is very excited about our decision to partner with Association Headquarters to manage our group," says Dale McCaskill, Southco Sweeping & Maintenance, current NAPSA president. "Our organizational and business needs have grown along with our membership. AH has a proven track record helping grow organizations, while at the same time saving money and time through the use of their professional staff. Add to that membership growth, help providing additional services, and benefits for our members and you have all the ingredients for success."
NAPSA's board considered a variety of options, including adding additional staff, before deciding to sign with AH. The decision came out of a three-day strategic planning meeting in August in Philadelphia.
"As we went through our plans and opportunities AH got just as excited as we did," says Carl Barton, Aardvark Sweeping, incoming NAPSA president. "They see some real opportunities for growth and are willing to help us get where we want to be."
Along with a new address, NAPSA has welcomed new headquarters staff. Sarah Gazi, executive director, will head up the team that includes Kristy Baier, administrative assistant, and various support staff in the areas of accounting, data entry, web development, IT, and graphics.
Gazi says the team at NAPSA Headquarters is extremely excited to work with such a great group of people. Throughout the transition to the new office, the new team was noticeably ready to dive into making NAPSA the best association that it can be.
NAPSA members can expect to start seeing some terrific changes, most notably, a brand new NAPSA website! The new website will launch by mid-2009.
Gazi and Baier are also gearing up for a membership recruitment campaign which will follow a membership survey to be sent out early 2009 to all NAPSA members.
Keep an eye out for Sarah and Kristy at the NPE show in February 2009. They are anxiously looking forward to meeting current and potential members. Be sure to stop by the NAPSA booth in the exhibit hall to say hello.
