Maintenance Plans Help Retain Clients

J.B Bostick offers customers both budgeting assistance and maintenance plans for one to five years. "Some companies work within their pavements, others work within the budgets they have and we can work either way with them," says Tim Crowley.
He says 400 of the Roseville customers ask J.B. Bostick to assist in getting the most maintenance from their budget and another 100 customers involve Bostick in setting up a long-term pavement maintenance plan, which involve:

• Physical inspection of each property
• An interview to determine the client's long-term goals for each property, including length of holding, length of lease agreements, lease requirements.
• Evaluating needs and comparing with budget to recommend best-use options for the money. "Some folks have the same amount of budget money available year after year and they need to know the best way to use that money," Crowley says.

Others have one lump sum and want the pavement to look revitalized.

• Provide detailed pavement maintenance proposal, including a long and short-term plan based on each client's needs and goals.

"The difference between a maintenance plan and working within the budget is our customers can get a bigger bang for the buck with a maintenance plan," Crowley says. "The overall goal is to help them maintain the integrity of the property so they don't get caught with a huge financial undertaking and face some huge cost later."
