The new, highly mobile and versatile Powerscreen Horizon 6203 dry screening plant is designed for large-volume processing of crushed stone, sand/gravel, coal and recycled concrete and asphalt. The plant has a capacity of up to 800 tph, and it features a 20’ x 6’ triple-deck with high-productivity geared triple-shaft, oval-stroke (adjustable forward and elliptical 1/2-inch — 3/4-inch throw) screen. These screen motion variances allow operators to adapt the plant to specific applications, providing high resistance to pegging and blinding and with high energy characteristics to loosen fines. On-site setup is about one hour.
The 10.73-cubic-yard feed hopper is equipped with impact bars and rollers and has Hardox 400 steel side and back plates which fold hydraulically for transport. A double-deck roll-in chute system with hydraulic trap doors enables operators to blend material grades and produce specific end products.
The four angle-adjustable stockpiling conveyors fold hydraulically and have variable belt speed control.
All major areas of the Horizon 6203 are easily accessible for maintenance and screen change. Extended maintenance intervals reduce downtime. Gear case baffles and hub oil ports reduce vibrator temperatures. Other features include high-strength screenbox side plates, triple-shaft screen with HD belts and high performance gears with optimized tooth geometry. Non-contact rotary gland shaft seal outperforms and outlasts conventional lip-contact seals.
The plant is powered by a 174-hp Deutz diesel and equipped with heavy-duty, high-performance Danfoss and David Brown hydraulic pumps and motors.
Roadtec SP-200 Asphalt Spray Paver
Roadtec introduces the SP-200 asphalt spray paver, which allows the contractor the ability to spray asphalt cement or emulsion directly in front of the asphalt mix before it is laid, for NovaChip applications or traditional paving. The SP-200 has a heated 1,800-gallon asphalt cement/emulsion tank and three rows of spray nozzles for delivering A/C or emulsion. An onboard microprocessor controls the rate of flow or it can be manually controlled. Unit can be equipped with an Eagle 10 extendable 10-foot screed as well as any of the other available Roadtec and Carlson 10-foot screeds.

Flowserve Corp. launches the 9.3.0 release of Performance!, the company’s unique control valve sizing and selection software. An easy-to-use tool, Peformance! employs industry-standard ISA sizing equations, among other measures, to specify Flowserve control valves and similar competing valve products. Offering detailed valve specification information, such as materials, accessories, actuators, positioners, and other options in its database, the software provides complete valve sizing data, including flow, pressure, cavitation and documentation requirements. The program is organized using an intuitive tab system that allows users to quickly and easily add and alter the many options required for a valve application. The software is network-enabled for collaborative team design.
