Staying Hitched

Education is key to preventing towable claims.

Secure all loading ramps and make sure the jack stand is in up position.

Customers should be told to:

Drive slowly and allow extra time and distance for braking, stopping, passing and changing lanes.

Never allow passengers in the trailer and never load cargo on the outside of the trailer.

Use mirrors if their vision is obstructed by the trailer or load.

After traveling a short distance, stop to make sure that the load is secure and that all tie downs are tight.
