Course: Asphalt Paver Service Training. This course is designed for paver product support personnel and covers both theory and hands-on training. The classroom portion includes explanation of hydraulic and electrical schematics, machine operation, monitoring systems, electronic control modules (ECM), ECM calibration, grade and slope control, screed adjustments, troubleshooting and towing information. The lab sessions will cover testing and adjusting of hydraulic components, troubleshooting procedures, systems calibration and maintenance procedures.

Course: Paving Operations Seminar. This seminar will provide theory and hands-on training in both classroom and laboratory sessions. There will be a wide range of pavers, asphalt compactors and simulators available for training. It stresses the fundamentals of asphalt paving and builds upon the basics to cover more complex paving applications. Student to instructor ratio is 2 to 1. There is extensive testing and a progress report is provided for each student. Sponsoring organization receives a training kit which is set up for internal training by the course graduates.
