This ALLU D-Series model DH4-17/40X was installed on a Caterpillar 330D excavator to separate stone from landfill liner material. The liner is being reclaimed after closing a section of the landfill.

The material is made up of clay, stone and a large percentage of iron ore. The heavy-duty outer shell of the attachment is durable to handle the large load, while the rotating drums process the sticky clay with an end product of 1 1/2-in. minus.
