Ekedal Concrete’s Ezier Project in La Jolla, Calif., won “Single Family Residence over 5,000 Square Feet” and “Overall Grand Project” in the 2012 CFA Project of the Year Awards. The 8,700-square-foot basement utilized 900 yards of concrete and 160,000 pounds of reinforcement. It include 205 lineal feet of single-side formed walls, a structural deck (shown here) and wall heights from 11 to 22 feet.
