The annual trade show and conference program features more than 100 paving and pavement maintenance exhibitors and more than 50 educational sessions. Roughly half the sessions are technical "how to" topics while the other sessions are focused on managing a contracting business.
Show Manager Amy Schwandt said that to make it easier for contractors to attend as many sessions as they like, NPE has restructured its conference pricing, reducing the cost of seminars the more seminars you take. She said any conference registration also includes admission to the exhibit floor.
“In the past NPE had offered packages but not all contractors want to take 8 or 10 sessions,” Schwandt said. “The way it’s structured now contractors can take as many sessions as they like and receive a reduced rate the more sessions they take. We hope it will make it easier and more economical for contractors to attend all the sessions they want to.”
Contractors who register by January 4 can attend 8-10 90-minute sessions for $55 each ($80 each after January 4); 6 or 7 sessions for $65 each ($85); 3-5 sessions for $75 each ($90); or 1 or 2 sessions for $85 each ($105). Contractors also can attend 3-hour workshops for $135 (vs. $155 when registering after January 4).
