The World of Asphalt Show & Conference (WOA) comes at the perfect time to get ready for the 2013 paving season. The event is being held March 19-21 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX. Educational sessions start on March 18.
WOA is an exhibition and education resource for the asphalt pavement industry, drawing asphalt producers, paving contractors, fleet managers, highway contractors, traffic safety professionals, public works, and department of transportation officials and related personnel from ascross the United States and around the world.
In 2012, more than 6,100 people attended WOA in Charlotte, NC, to get a first-hand look at the latest in equipment, products and services for the paving and aggregates industries, as well as to take advantage of educational opportunities.
This year's show is expected to be even larger. Attendees will get the chance to see new products and technologies for asphalt, aggregates, paving maintenance and traffic safety operations. The 117,000 square feet of exhibit space is expected to sell out. The exhibit floor opens on Tuesday, March 19, at 11 a.m.
