When you visit the NAPSA website, it may look a little different. Actually, it looks a lot different. The reason is simple; NAPSA’s is redesigning itself to facilitate growth with the top priority being the website! If you visit the NAPSA website at www.powersweeping.org, the first thing you will notice is the overall look. More graphics and information is intended to capture and appeal to a broader audience. This audience will include not only NAPSA members but the hundreds of visitors we receive each month who are perusing the Contractor-Locator looking for service providers. We still have this useful tool right on each and every page.
In addition to the locator, there is useful advice for those sweeping customers. NAPSA designed its “How To Hire Sweeping Services” information to cover parking lots, streets and highways, construction and milling as well as community sweeping. This information includes what to expect from sweeping services and how to find as well as hire sweeping services. NAPSA would like for every buyer of sweeping services to understand the difference between debris and stains as well as what to expect from each condition. They also want them to be thinking about frequency and services so these things are covered as well. An informed customer will understand not only the aesthetics value but the basic concepts of wear and tear and why NAPSA members do what they do. Customer education was a focal point in this redesign.
So you may be wondering, what did NAPSA do for the members? Most of the favorites are still there. Members can log in and find the details and contact information on all of NAPSA’s services and member benefits. The NAPSA News as well as upcoming events are listed so members can continue to be “in the know.” We kept the links to our favorite resources such as Blacktop to Laptop and North American Sweeper Magazine, Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction Monthly and Storm H2O as well as SweeperMarket Magazine. But in addition to these great resources, we have added a new featured service. NAPSA now offers the Sweepers Exchange Forum which is an area is intended to create a space where members can ask questions or have conversations. This tool is intended to facilitate learning and networking. NAPSA knows that our members are some of the brightest and best in the world and if given an opportunity, they can raise the industry to a new level.
