Hanson Paver Products Inc. Acquires Perma Paving Stone Co.

DALLAS , June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanson Paver Products Inc., a division of Hanson Building Products North America , today announced the purchase of the stock of Toronto Vault and Concrete Products Limited, operating as Perma Paving Stone. The acquisition of the company, which services the Greater Toronto area with two highly automated production facilities and four distribution centers, expands Hanson Paver Products Inc.'s reach into Canada .
"This acquisition will make Hanson one of the top producers of interlocking concrete pavers and retaining wall products in Greater Toronto and greatly increase our ability to service the U.S. market as well," said Hanson Building Products North America's President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Manning .
Added Rick Chatellier, Hanson Paver Products Inc. president, "This is Hanson Paver's first acquisition outside of the United States . Perma's seasoned management and history of providing excellent service and products provides a great foundation for expansion in the Greater Toronto area."
Perma Paving Stone Co. was founded in 1975 by the Acton family in Mississauga, Ontario. The company will now be part of Hanson Paver Products Inc., which has locations in five Florida cities including Lehigh Acres, Haines City, Naples , Pompano Beach and Sarasota .
Considered by many to be the modern replacement to concrete and asphalt paving, since 1989, Hanson Paver Products Inc. has produced more than 200million square feet of pavers that have been installed in Florida. The application of its pavers includes award winning Department of Transportation projects, city and municipality streetscapes, roadways and many commercial and residential award-winning projects.

I saw a story about these paver the IHM Quarterly andwouldlike more information. Are they suitable in a labyrinth, athat is all circular? We have 2 feet of garden and two feet of walk in the shape of a labyrinth. Who handles this product in the Saginaw area?
