Arizona Senators John McCain (R) and Jeff Flake (R) have added an Interstate 11 freeway corridor extension to the Intermountain West Corridor Development Act of 2015. Often known as the CanaMex Interstate 11, the proposed freeway would run from the U.S./Canada border to Mexico.
Las fall, Arizona and Nevada DOTs completed a two-year study of the interstate corridor. A three-year Tier 1 Environmental Impact Statement is expected to begin later this year.
