Glenn Dalby, president of CMI Roadbuilding Inc., Oklahoma City, OK, says the CMI group has purchased from TEREX Corp. their former Waverly, IA crane manufacturing facility.

The Waverly facility covers 48 acres and has 310,000 sq. ft. under roof. Dalby explains “this facility will be the foundation for returning our extensive portfolio of legacy products to the position of prominence it once held in the construction equipment and roadbuilding industries.”

"It was natural to choose Iowa for CMI’s manufacturing base due to the historical connection with the state dating back to 1929 with Iowa Manufacturing Company and later Cedarapids Inc.," he says. "CMI looks forward to working with the local community to continue a strong manufacturing presence in Waverly."

CMI’s product portfolio offers an extensive range of branded products many of which have been recently redesigned and updated. The product range includes asphalt and concrete plants, milling machines, concrete paving and specialty compaction equipment. The portfolio can be viewed at cmi-roadbuilding.com.
