Nice article by Volvo's Dale Starry in the September/October issue of HMAT about "Best Practices for Achieving Optimum Density." Dale has been a speaker at National Pavement Expo and in the issue he provides a solid overview of the four main aspects of the paving process that play a role in achieving density. His insights reinforce many comments in the paving and compaction articles in the August/September issue of Pavement.
