Can an Old Dog Learn a New Trick?

Okay, so I'm not that old and I've been known to learn a new trick every now and then, but when it comes to my technological savvy, I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. Sadly, I found out my ineptitude was worse than I thought as I researched smartphone technology for an upcoming article in our October/November issue. See "Going Mobile" From what I learned from my sources, smartphones will be integral to the way we do business in the coming years, particularly for those that manage lots of moving parts, like the typical rental company. But for someone who owns a four-year-old flip phone, this information is intimidating. I mean, which smartphone makes the most sense for my needs? How would I begin to choose one?
