Iowa Mold Tooling

IMT recently announced its lineup for Work Truck Week 2024. The lineup will feature battery-powered equipment and allow attendees to get a firsthand look at the company's prototypes.

According to the press release:

Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. (IMT), an Oshkosh Corporation company, is bringing an electrified version of its leading service vehicle to Work Truck Week 2024, North America’s largest work truck event. The show will take over the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, March 5-8, and IMT will be located in booth No. 2801.

Show attendees will get an up-close look at the company’s patented control system: IMT CMD.CTRL. The company will also have its rugged Dominator I mechanics truck featuring prototype electrified components on display to demonstrate the innovative technologies IMT is pursuing as it works to bring sustainable, complete system packages to its customers.

“The highlight of our booth is a prototype battery-powered hydraulic telescopic crane and compressor package. We’re excited to show our customers where we’re headed as a company as we pursue electrification solutions for the work truck and material handling industry,” said Amy Brownlee, vice president and general manager of IMT. “Through innovative design and testing of new solutions, we are working to develop and manufacture products that deliver the reliable user experience IMT products are known for.”

Battery-Powered Hydraulic Telescopic Crane and Compressor Package

First introduced at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas last year, the IMT prototype battery-powered hydraulic telescopic crane and compressor package will be on display during Work Truck Week 2024.

Outfitted on a powerful Dominator I body featuring the IMT CMD.CTRL system, the prototype fully electric 3,200-lb telescopic crane is powered by the Vanair EPEQ ELiMENT battery system and features the EPEQ AIR20 reciprocating compressor. The electric crane can be used even when the operator’s vehicle is off.

“As our customers work to future-proof their vehicles and service fleets in the face of changing industry regulations, we will continue to build on our history of product design driven by customer needs,” said Brownlee. “We are developing future-forward electric solutions that will help our customers navigate the rapidly changing industry."
