Only NYC Added More Construction Jobs than Denver in the Past Year

The construction industry has added 8,300 jobs in Denver over the past year, second nationally only to New York, which added 9,200 construction jobs.

That's according to the Association of General Contractors of America, which said the Denver area experienced a 9 percent increase in construction jobs from November 2014 to November 2015. The Denver area added more construction jobs than larger markets such as the Anaheim area in Southern California and the Phoenix area.
