The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) recognized outstanding members and industry partners whose exemplary efforts advance the careers of equipment management professionals.
At the AEMP Annual Meeting, the association honored the following award winners:
Fleet Masters Award: Manatee County Fleet Services
The 2015 Fleet Masters Award went to Manatee County Fleet Services. Accepting the honor on behalf of the Manatee County Fleet Services team was Fleet Manager Mike Brennan, CEM.
Each year at the AEMP Management Conference and Annual Meeting, AEMP and Construction Equipment Magazine acknowledge outstanding fleets with the honor of Fleet Master. The Fleet Master award recognizes equipment professionals who demonstrate excellence in meeting the unique challenges inherent to delivering cost-effective and cutting-edge management of mixed fleets of on-road and off-road equipment. Nominees are judged according to five major areas within their operation: Finance, Information Management, Policies, Controls, and Customer Service.
AEMP Technician of the Year Award: Brent Schroder, Traylor Brothers
This is the 26th Anniversary of recognizing the finest technicians in the industry. The AEMP Foundation Technician of the Year award honors the excellence displayed by the technicians who work side by side with our member equipment managers every day. Through this award, AEMP hopes to advance the vital role of technicians in the industry and advance the career growth of those who win. The Technician of the Year Award is bestowed annually in recognition of clear demonstrations of professionalism, technical skills, innovation, troubleshooting, diagnostic capabilities and contributions made to the profession.
AEMP Member of the Year: Guy Gordon, CEM, Aegion Corp.
The AEMP Member of the Year was awarded to Guy Gordon, CEM of the Aegion Corporation.
Each year AEMP honors individuals who have dedicated themselves to the advancement of fleet asset management profession through outstanding service to AEMP, contributing new ideas, practices or innovation.
AEMP Associate of the Year Award: Case Construction Equipment
The AEMP Associate of the Year Award was awarded to Case Construction Equipment. This award is presented annually to the Associate Member Company, Corporation or Firm which, through past efforts, has significantly enhanced or promoted AEMP’s Mission and Vision.
AEMP Richard Hawkins Award: Roger Mohr, John Deere Construction Equipment
The AEMP Richard Hawkins Award was awarded to Roger Mohr, John Deere Construction Equipment. Each year AEMP honors individuals with the Richard Hawkins Award who have dedicated themselves to the advancement of fleet asset management profession through outstanding service to AEMP, contributing new ideas, practices or innovation.
