The company also represents agriculture, lawn and garden equipment, and Volvo, Mack, GMC, and Isuzu medium and heavy trucks. RDO has a network of 61 John Deere, Vermeer and Topcon dealerships in 9 states.

Ron Offutt is founder and Chairman of RDO Equipment Co. He purchased the first Casselton, North Dakota, store by taking out a bank loan, selling a potato warehouse and 160 acres of the family's farmland, and paying the last $10,000 of the purchase price with a contribution from his grandmother.
