Makinex Lauches New Mixing Station For World of Concrete 2024

Launching in Makinex’s 20th Anniversary year, the MS-150 joins a long list of popular products designed and delivered by the innovators including the award-winning Floor Stripper, and the immensely successful Hose2Go constant pressure water supply unit.

Makinex is set to transform flooring preparation and improve the health of workers with the MS-150 Mixing Station and Mixer - a mixing solution for self-leveling cements, compounds, and epoxies.

MakinexThe Australian equipment designer will preview their new MS-150 Mixing Station in Las Vegas at World of Concrete (WOC), with the product officially hitting the US market in June 2024, which is a level up in innovation from their existing mixing station range. Redefining flooring mixing, the MS-150 Mixing Station is a portable powerhouse, blending up to six bags in seven minutes, all while ensuring precise pouring and reduced waste.

 The tool saves time and labor on flooring projects, and curbs operator fatigue and injury thanks to its ergonomic lightweight design. Meticulous mixing and pouring within the single unit is practically guaranteed.

A breakthrough of the MS-150 is the removable vacuum attachment for spills and dust suppression, helping to reduce ‘construction dust’ - airborne particles - from construction activities. Exposure to airborne particles and the resulting health impacts are a major global issue.  Concerningly, scientific studies have linked higher dust exposure to construction workers with significant health impacts, including increased risk of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and increased risk of cancer. The MS-150’s newest features will aid in mitigating those risks for workers.

According to the company, the MS-150 is an upgrade from the MS-100 by size and increased mobility.
