John K. Conn, FACI, CAE is the Director of Chapter Activities for the American Concrete Institute (ACI). He has been with ACI since 2004 and is responsible for ACI’s worldwide Chapter Activities representing 96 chapters (60 domestic, 36 international), and 168 student chapters (61 domestic, 107 international).
Mr. Conn is a FELLOW of ACI and is the staff liaison for the Board-level Chapter Activities Committee. He has helped launch ACI Certification programs at chapters in India, China, Taiwan ROC, Bolivia, Philippines, and Singapore. Prior to joining ACI, he was the Director of Business Services for FTD Association and the Strategic Communications Manager for Ford Motor Company
Mr. Conn received his MBA in International Business in 1993 from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and has an undergraduate degree in Marketing also from Wayne State University. Mr. Conn has over 28 years of diverse experience in the nonprofit, automotive, and retail banking industries with in-depth knowledge of certification administration, program development, project management, marketing communications, and training facilitation.
