The battery-electric, double-drum machine has 30% more available power than its diesel counterpart, providing improved on-grade performance and operation at high altitudes where naturally aspirated diesel engines lose power. The DD25 Electric battery charges from zero to full in as little as three hours depending on the AC power level, and an off-board DC fast charger can do the job in about an hour.
