PTX42 Walk Beside Plow/Trencher

Vermeer expands its plow and trencher product line with the introduction of the new PTX42 walk-beside plow/trencher. 

• Plow offers a maximum depth of 24 in. and trencher cuts a maximum of 42 in. deep and 6 in. wide
• Pivoting hand controls can be moved from one side of the machine to the other to give the operator greater flexibility
• Electronic controls provide precise handling of machine operations
• 46.8-hp Kubota WG1605 gasoline engine and built with planetary axles that help reduce stress and torque going to the driveline
• Center-articulated design oscillates at the point of articulation for maneuverability even in tight working conditions and on uneven terrain
• Electronic creep control helps to optimize performance on longer distance installation
• Available with 23-in. tires for working on congested sites, 26-in. air- or foam-filled tires to optimize traction, dual tires to help with stability and lower ground pressure and tracks for use in uneven terrain
• Attachments include a backhoe, trencher, plow, porta bore and two-reel carriers
