Metabo HPT latest additions to the MultiVolt System gives users versatility on the jobsite. The expansion includes the new 18V Triple Hammer Bolt Impact Driver (WH18DC), 18V Driver Drill (DS18DEX), 18V 2-Piece Drill and Impact Combo kit (KC18DEXQB), 18V Reciprocating Saw (CR18DBQ4) and an 18V Grinder (G1812DFQ4).
The next-level 18V MultiVolt Triple Hammer BOLT Impact Driver, model WH18DC, incorporates a third anvil and five speed settings, including the powerful BOLT mode that tightens and loosens large bolts and nuts, but can also be dialed down for detailed precision work. It can achieve a high torque of 1,859 in.-lbs., 4,000 bpm and a driving speed of 3,700 rpm, while also reducing vibration. Being compact at only 4.5 in. in length allows the user to have access in tight spaces and at only 2 lbs., it is lightweight. The new triple LED light delivers visibility in dark workspaces while minimizing shadows. The tool body is water and dust resistant with an IP56 rating to handle harsh conditions. It comes kitted with (2) 18V 2.0Ah batteries with fuel gauges (BSL1820M/377797M), a charger and carrying case.
The 18V MultiVolt Driver Drill, model DS18DEX, provides an innovative solution for jobsites. This updated model is more compact (shorter in overall length) for maneuvering in tight, narrow or awkward spaces. It delivers a max torque of 620 in.-lbs. with a driving speed of 2,000 rpm. Reactive Force Control (RFC) is added to provide anti kick-back for safety and complete control during operation. Included in this kit are (2) 18V 2.0Ah batteries with fuel gauge indicators, charger, #2 Phillips bit and carrying bag. This drill is for driving or removing machine screws, wood screws, tapping screws and drilling into various metals and woods.
The 18V MultiVolt Driver Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit, model KC18DEXQB, includes the Driver Drill (DS18DEX) noted above and the Impact Driver (WH18DEX) that offers 1,549 in.-lbs. of torque, up to 3,100 rpm and 3,400 impacts per minute, in a lightweight design at only 2 lbs. The combo kit also comes with (2) 2.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries with fuel gauges, charger, #2 Phillips bit. and carrying bag.
The 18V MultiVolt Compact Reciprocating Saw, model CR18DBQ4, is for working in confined spaces. This 18V compact style reciprocating saw delivers cutting power with its 1-1/8-in. stroke length and up to 3,000 spm for cutting speed through wood, PVC and metal. It features tool-less blade change, an orbital cutting mode and an LED light. Vibration is minimal with Metabo HPT's User Vibration Protection (UVP) counterbalance technology. Sold as 18V tool body only, the user can decide to GO lighter by using a compact 18V battery or GO longer with the flexible 18V/36V MultiVolt battery to increase runtime per charge.
The 18V MultiVolt 4-1/2-in. Paddle Switch Angle Grinder, model G1812DFQ4, delivers corded power with the flexibility of a cordless tool. The brushless motor delivers a no-load speed of 8,000 rpm. Auto-mode option automatically adjusts the rpm down when the tool is not under load, resulting in a decrease in noise and vibration, while also sparing the life of the battery for performance. Provided safety features are a no-lock paddle switch, quick braking feature, kickback protection, zero voltage restart and soft start. A tool-less wheel guard and three-position anti-vibration side handle are accessible on the tool. A removable dust filter offers protection for the motor against dust and debris ensuring that the tool operates properly. This product is sold as an 18V tool body only.
