The importance of routine maintenance

A well maintained equipment fleet contributes to safety and efficiency on the jobsite. Well maintained equipment will also last longer, saving you money in equipment repairs and allowing you to receive the best resale value on a machine if you should decide to sell it or trade it in.  ForConstructionPros.com offers a wide range of articles on equipment maintenance, including power trowelswork trucks, compact track loaders, tires, skid steers, and more.

Agreed. It all comes down to fleet utilization…and regular maintenance according to a predictive schedule is key to maximizing that utilization. Using technology to manage your maintenance is also key. There are untold piles of Return On Investment ca$h available for those that use technology effectively to manage maintenance. (This will also help nail down EXACTLY when you should dispose of the machine as well…scientifically…vs. gut feel).
