Partly because I was not speaking & didn't intend to go, but the VP of the NPCA came down with pneumonia so I went to help represent the Association. With not speaking came the opportunity I haven't had in years...to not be "working" and just take in the show as a participant. It was definitely one of the best "west" shows ever if not the best. Met a lot of good people, saw some old friends from the west coast and the quality of the exhibit floor and the attendees in general was great (or maybe you just don't notice as much when you're busy "speaking"). Anyhow I really enjoyed the show and while we're devoting our resources to NPE this year I have suggested to the board that at this rate the NPCA needs a booth at NPE West this fall. Looking forward to a great NPE and an even "bigger & better" west show this fall. It was definitely one of the best “west” shows ever.
