Blogging and Video:

It shouldn't take a $350/hour pro video studio or a $5k web page to accomplish what you can on your own (or with a bit of guidance). Ask 100 people where they go FIRST to find places to spend their money. You know the answer, Google. Becoming findable is NOT rocket science. It take a bit of creativity and a bit more dedication to the "new media" ways of doing things.

I'd encourage every single construction company/contractor/equipment rental operation to blog and create at least a 1 minute "elevator pitch about what makes you...YOU! Within months you can go from unfindable "cob web site" to the top without paying a mint to the "16 year old who makes $20/k month running ads on the internet".
