Rebecca,

You might want to alert you readers to this new innovative product that enables workers in high noise environments to protect their ears from NIHL and still have a conversation.

Sensear has just launched a speech enhancement product that elevates speech above background noise.

Perfect for contruction site employees.

Just for sport of conversation I'm here to defend the fan-atics. Espn.com reported a story about how this is somewhat of a common occurrence.

A construction worker working on the current Yankees stadium buried a trinket in the stadium in 1920 - before the Yankees had ever won a World Series - they now have 26.

A Canadian coin was frozen in center ice during the 2002 winter games and Canada won for the first time since the 50's.

There was also another instance I can't remember but I have to imagine sports-related or not, certain items get "included" in the construction of all types of projects. Not counting putting hand prints and initials in wet concrete.

Sig. Castignoli must have had a great chuckle himself when he saw what a scene he had caused...until he found out the humorless Yankees may press charges. Big babies.

I would think a cotton or polyester jersey would just add to the strength of the substrate, so why not leave it there? Just think, Jimmy Hoffa has supported Wrigley field all these years....

Blogging and Video:

It shouldn't take a $350/hour pro video studio or a $5k web page to accomplish what you can on your own (or with a bit of guidance). Ask 100 people where they go FIRST to find places to spend their money. You know the answer, Google. Becoming findable is NOT rocket science. It take a bit of creativity and a bit more dedication to the "new media" ways of doing things.

I'd encourage every single construction company/contractor/equipment rental operation to blog and create at least a 1 minute "elevator pitch about what makes you...YOU! Within months you can go from unfindable "cob web site" to the top without paying a mint to the "16 year old who makes $20/k month running ads on the internet".
