"Fluid Power Wall of Fame" at IFPE 2011 to Recognize Innovation

Industry professionals are invited to submit online nominations to the IFPE 2011 "Fluid Power Wall of Fame," which will honor innovative hydraulic and pneumatic solutions in the fluid power industry. The nominations received will be voted on by industry peers and will appear on the Top Innovations in Fluid Power Wall of Fame in the Innovations Theater at the show.

"IFPE is known for featuring exhibits of the latest product innovations and education on the newest fluid power research and development, so it is an ideal venue to recognize our industry’s achievements," stated Melissa Magestro, IFPE Show Director.

Submissions should include a description of the innovation and what makes it ground-breaking, responsible party, year and location of creation and a photo.

IFPE focuses on the integration of fluid power with other technologies for power transmission and motion control applications. The triennial show will be held March 22-26, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA, co-located with the gigantic CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011 exposition for the construction industries and ICON Expo, with an emphasis on the concrete products industry. IFPE show registration permits access to all three shows.

Attendees at IFPE 2011 can examine more products on the show floor than ever before; the exposition is the largest in its history, with sold-out exhibit space, and will showcase more than 440 exhibitors taking 140,450 net square feet of exhibit space.

Attendees will have access to more education than ever before, with a record 120-plus presentations set for the 52nd National Conference on Fluid Power, hosted by IFPE. New for the 2011 show: the conference will include half-day college classes and special keynote presentations, plus presentations from researchers in the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP). And the Innovations Theater will again be on the show floor at IFPE, with 15 sessions on real-world solutions for current and future design applications.
