Toll Increase Paying Off WV Parkways Deferred Maintenance

Parkways authority plan is to have the deferred maintenance down to $100 million by 2016, and completely paid off by 2019

Officials say an increase in tolls is allowing the West Virginia Parkways Authority to catch up with its 10-year deferred maintenance program. By 2016, the authority’s plan is to have the deferred maintenance down to $100 million, and to have it completely paid off by 2019. This date also coincides with the intended payoff of outstanding bonds.
