BURR RIDGE, IL - Case-New Holland has reported that sales rose by 30 percent and earnings per share more than doubled for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with the same quarter last year.

CNH said sales for the quarter increased from $3.5 billion last year to $4.6 billion this year. Agricultural equipment sales rose by 29 percent to $3.6 billion, and construction equipment sales increased by 36 percent to $1 billion.
