Volvo Rents announces it has acquired Great Plains Rent-All, a four-store equipment rental company based in Southern Oklahoma, with stores in Ada, Ardmore, Duncan and Durant.
This brings the total of acquisitions Volvo Rents has made in the last 12 months to more than 50. The company's strategy is to build a network of company-owned stores and this latest acquisition comes at a time when more customers are adopting the rental concept to meet their needs for equipment to complete projects and jobs.
"While some of the projected rental revenue growth will come from increased demand as the construction industry recovers, the benefits of renting equipment have been magnified in today's marketplace," says Michael Crouch, vice president of business development for Volvo Rents. "This shift from buying equipment to renting puts us in a favorable position as we continue to expand our footprint in various markets across the country."
