True Value Company’s rental division recently recognized its top suppliers at the hardware co-op’s Spring and Rental Market in Atlanta on Feb. 23. During the rental business development session, True Value honored three suppliers in the categories of tools and equipment, lawn and garden, and party/materials supplies.
“True Value business partners play an important role in helping our retailers across the nation be successful,” said True Value President and CEO Lyle Heidemann. “We are pleased to honor these three exceptional companies for their outstanding contributions, commitment to quality and positive financial impact on our rental business.”
Companies selected for the 2012 Rental Supplier of the Year Award contributed to True Value retailers’ success in a variety of ways. Each had an increase in sales last year. In addition, they participated in True Value events including Markets and/or Demo Days, and provided special price offerings and training, among other contributions.

Schwarz Supply Source was selected as True Value’s 2012 Party/Materials Supplier of the Year. The Chicago-based business combines lasting customer relationships with its reliable products, including boxes, tape and packing materials.
