United Rentals has acquired Rent World, a construction equipment rental company with two facilities in Wainwright, Alberta, Canada.

United Rentals has acquired Rent World, a construction equipment rental company with two facilities in Wainwright, Alberta, Canada. Rent World serves the fast-growing Keystone Pipeline marketplace in central Alberta.

Reports say the company, which also does significant business with a nearby military base, has a general contractor equipment inventory including aerial equipment, earthmoving and air compressors. Former owner Orlando Radies is expected to stay on and manage the facility.
