Modernization of New York City Hall Receives ENR Award of Merit

Hill International is recognized with Engineering News-Record award for its modernization of New York City Hall project

Hill International, a global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that the modernization of New York City Hall has received an Award of Merit from Engineering News-Record (ENR). The award will be presented to Hill on November 6, 2013, at ENR's Best 2013 Projects Awards Gala in New York City.

The project received the award in the category of Renovation/Restoration and competed against projects throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Hill was the construction manager for the project.

"The New York City Hall modernization was a unique and challenging project that required exceptional commitment and ingenuity to accomplish," said D. Clarke Pile, P.E., Hill's senior vice president and northeast regional manager. "All members of our team are well deserving of this recognition by ENR," added Pile.

ENR's Best 2013 Projects Awards are a series of special events that celebrate and honor the building teams that created the best projects of 2013. These extraordinary projects are selected by juries of local prominent industry professionals.
