Demolition Worker Dies in Fall at Texas A&M Stadium

Texas A&M University officials confirmed a man died after he fell from the fourth level of the Kyle Field stadium

Texas A&M University officials confirmed a man died after he fell from the fourth level of the Kyle Field stadium.

Angel Garcia, 25, fell from the north end of Kyle Field, which is undergoing a $450 million redevelopment project.

A&M System spokesperson Steve Moore said Garcia worked for Lindamood Demolition based out of Irving, Texas. Manhattan-Vaughn Construction out of Houston is the company leading the project.

It's the second major construction accident on campus of 2013. In June, four workers contracted to Gamma Construction were injured when the new equine center facility collapsed as it was being built.
