A $138.5 million reconstruction of the Genesis Medical Center, expected to begin in June 2014, will be one of Davenport, Iowa's, largest construction projects ever. Plans call for 203,000 square feet of new construction, including a new seven-story tower, and 115,000 square feet of renovations spread over four years at the Genesis hospital campus on East Rusholme Street.
