The Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) has announed a new campaign to raise money to construct a new 20,000-square-foot facility for the National Construction Equipment Museum. The facility will be built on the existing property and nearly triple the current museum's display area.

Features of the new museum a machinery hall that will allow cranes and shovels to be displayed with their booms raised; a visitor's center with merchandise store and meeting area; a 1,200-square-foot education center with interactive displays; and a 1,200-square-foot archives annex with climate-controlled storage.

HCEA has a fundraising target of $1.5 million and has launched its Capital Campaign to help raise the funds.
