Tell Your Representatives to Sign a Letter Supporting a Long-Term Highway Bill

Bipartisan group of four members of U.S. House seeks cosigners for a letter to House leadership expressing bipartisan commitment to a long-term funding solution

Hardhats for Highways

Four members of the U.S. House of Representatives from two committees critical to the highway funding reauthorization are asking their colleagues to sign onto a letter to House leadership that expresses strong bipartisan commitment to provide a long-term funding solution.

The letter is being circulated by Transportation & Infrastructure Committee members Reid Ribble (R-WI) and Dan Lipinski (D-IL) along with Ways & Means Committee members Tom Reed (R-NY) and Bill Pascrell (D-NJ). These Representatives are seeking to build bipartisan support in Congress for ending the cycle of short-term extensions by passing a multi-year transportation bill that includes a long-term, sustainable revenue source for funding transportation projects.

Hardhats for Highways and the Associated General Contractors are encouraging all stakeholders of the surface transportation community to contact their U.S. representative today and urge them to sign the bipartisan letter. They remind you to encourage your employees and coworkers to send emails as well.
