Keystone XL Bill Advances in the Senate

Monday's 63-32 Senate vote in favor of the legislation approving construction of the Keystone XL pipeline has Republican and Democratic supporters hoping the bill will win final approval and be sent to the White House by the end of next week. The White House still opposes the legislation, and President Obama has threatened to veto the bill. The House approved the legislation last week.
