House Democrat John Delaney's new bill calls for spending $170 billion over the next six years to boost transportation infrastructure. Dubbed The Infrastructure 2.0 Act, the bill would add $150 billion into the Highway Trust Fund over the next six years. It would also set aside $50 billion to fund the creation of a national infrastructure bank that could attract $750 billion in private investment in U.S. transportation projects, according to Delaney.
